From Last Chance to Legacy

How We Helped Secure a 25-Year Success Story for Caribbean Cricket

In 2012 the founder of the Caribbean Premier League (CPL) met us in the aftermath of a disastrous pitch meeting shortly before he met us. He had been unprepared, unconvincing and he was running out of options.

We didn’t just fix the pitch. We fortified it - reshaping the story, aligning it to investor needs and transforming doubt into belief. The result? A 25-year deal that changed the Caribbean’s sporting and economic landscape.

Today, the CPL’s economic impact speaks for itself. In 2022 alone, the tournament generated £150 million across the region, including £101 million in direct spending. In 2023, Guyana alone saw an impact of £76 million and booked over 23,000 hotel room nights. Even smaller nations like St. Kitts & Nevis secured £18.5 million in economic benefit from CPL events.

Beyond tourism and regeneration, the CPL has reignited cricketing pride and inspired the next generation across the West Indies. Global broadcast exposure continues to position the Caribbean as a premier destination for sport and culture.

At Jeto, we turn make-or-break moments into generational wins. When the stakes are highest, strategic storytelling isn’t decoration - it’s the difference between disappearing and leaving a legacy.
